Alright, alright. You people keep mentioning something that I had no intention of writing about. I try to avoid all things political, but all the talk has gotten me thinking, so here it is....
Gay marriage. I don't pretend to know if it is right or wrong in the eyes of whatever God there is, but I keep hearing one snippet repeatedly: allowing gay marriage would destroy the sanctity of (hetero) marriage.
What 'sanctity' would that be, exactly? Because the last I checked, that 'sanctity' was being tainted by a divorce rate of over 50%. If you don't agree with gay marriage, that's your perogative. Just find a sturdier soapbox than this supposed 'sanctity' that us breeders mangle every day. Touting that horn makes you a joke in my book.
