Well, I spent yesterday afternoon in the E.R. and a good time was had by all. My calf was bothering me and ever since I had that blood clot last year, I'm a bit paranoid. They did an ultrasound and some bloodwork and found nothing, so yea for not having a clot. As for my leg pain, the doctor asserted that I had probably pulled a muscle.
Did you catch that? Me. Pull a muscle. Doing what, exactly??
Angel reminded me that I should warm up longer before my morning jog. We aren't, after all, as young as we used to be.

Bits of fire in the sky push me east back home. I used to live in flames
but it's hard on the wings. Choke me. Smoke me. Scare me back. You try
but you just can't. I peel the layers in my spare time, and you're easy
to see through. I can fly, I've discovered on my own. I may be the lesser
butterfly but my wings are just as strong. Who are you to tell me to find
a place to land? I may be the lesser butterfly but baby watch me glide.
