READS RINGS |
So, Trusty and I went to my Dad's this weekend and my Dad has these two dogs. They're Yorkshire terriers. Now, by nature and as is implied by the 'terrier' part of their names, Yorkies are typically small dogs. Tiffany is a pint size pup. A whopping 5 pounds of quivering black fur hiding behind the nearest semi-stationery object. Tonka thinks he is that size as well. Note I said thinks. Tonka is a genetic mutant. He's close to 20 pounds. That would be fine if he were quiet and subdued like Tiffy. Nu-uh. Tonkas faorite thing to do when I visit is to jump in my lap....repeatedly....and lick me in the face. I hate that damn dog. Well, I got my revenge yesterday. He jumped in my lap with his wet feet and dog breath and lapping tongue. I took a quick look around the room to make sure that I was alone, placed my hand on his freakishly big forhead and shoved him off my lap. It was a good day a Dad's. |
