READS RINGS |
So, Thursday is the big day. We are leaving tomorrow night for a hotel closer to the hospital, so I suppose this will be my last entry for a few days. I went last week for my pre-op bloodwork and doctor visit. I had been under the distinct impression that a complete or partial hysterectomy was a possibility, but this is not the case, unless it is unavoidable, "which is unlikely," he says. It turns out that the only thing he may remove during this surgery is an ovary, if he can determine that one of the little buggers is from where most of my pain is originating. Well, Her Majesty is nothing if not practical, so I've determined that if one of my ovaries is removed, I am going to have it shellaqued and add some glitter. It will make a lovely addition to my Christmas tree, methinks. |
